What's it like when you add 470 horsepower to a chassis that already shudders at half that output? Benjamin scrapes his brains off the floor and attempts to make sense of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392, a truck so crazy that not even SRT was willing to put its name on it.
Sami then explains how confusing his time in the 2022 Mercedes-AMG GLB35 was. Is this a hot hatch? A 'cheap' Mercedes-Benz that costs more than $60k? Or is it yet another in a line of front-wheel drive Silver Star-badged rides that continue to miss the mark at the entry level?

Benjamin plops himself into the driver seat of yet anout $70,000 machine boasting more than 500 horsepower,, This time it's the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. After driving a pair of hi-po BMW M cars back-to-back, how does this rare Italian fare?
Sami gets his hands on the accessible and impressive 2022 Honda Civic, a "compact" car that's as long as a not-so-old Honda Accord. The pair wonder if compact cars are gone for good while Sami explains the major differences between this Civic and the previous generation.

The 2021 Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4MATIC wagon is an enthusiast's dream, with over 600 horsepower in a long-roof package that glares aggressively across the showroom at overweight SUVs. Benjamin spends a week behind the wheel of the E63 S wagon to try and decide whether the longtime segment leader is a match for the upstart Audi RS6 Avant.
Sami heads into crossover country to match up the compact 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander three-row versus the mid-size 2021 Kia Sorento in a bid to discover whether it makes sense to get more features and less passenger room in a compact SUV or instead enjoy the extra space of a modestly-equipped mid-sizer choice.
Plus, listener questions!

Is the 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT R one of the best cars the Silver Star has produced in the past decade? Benjamin certainly thinks so, and Sami is inclined to agree after a week behind the wheel of the twin-turbo sports car. The pair aren't nearly as impressed with the 2020 Ford Mustang EcoBoost 2.3L High Performance Package, however, which keeps trying to make 'EcoBoost' and 'performance' synonmous for pony car fans. The duo wrap things up with an update about Benjamin's 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer LS swap project.

How far has the Porsche Cayenne fallen behind the rest of the luxury people mover pack? Sami discusses his disappointment with what was once a class leader after driving the 2019 model. Benjamin, on the other hand, has a surprisingly positive encounter with the 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio after failing to be impressed by the standard, non-performance model. He compares it back-to-back against the 2019 Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 SUV, which may be one of the last V8-powered muscle trucks from the German brand.

The 2018 Mercedes-AMG CLA45 will cost you $20k more than the base CLA-Class, but is it a real AMG car? Benjamin thinks so, and while both he and Sami have reservations, it's a major improvement over the standard version of the vehicle. Get ready for more gushing about the 2018 Volvo XC40 SUV, too, as Benjamin hauls tires in class and style. Finally, the pair talk about the Chevrolet Colorado's airbag problem (hint: the explode when you go off-road), and the death of the new new VW Beetle.

<itunes:subtitle>Sami goes to Valencia, Spain, to drive the 2019 Audi A8, which insists on trying to drive itself, while Benjamin contemplates a week with the Mercedes-AMG E43, and all of the brand dilution that implies. The pair also discuss whether Honda is serious about actually building a sports car again, why weird transmission technology exists, and whether it's a good idea to drive a classic car on the race track.</itunes:subtitle>

Have you ever wanted a luxury car that can actually leap up into the air to protect you in a collision? Audi thinks the answer to that question is yes - and it also feels that you're so sick of driving that the new A8 should take care of most of that too, as Sami discovers during his time in Valencia with the redesigned 2019 model. As for Benjamin, he spends the week with the Mercedes-AMG E43, a confusingly-branded mid-range version of the comfort-minded mid-size sedan from Mercedes-Benz. We also talk lightning rod shifters, fake manual transmissions, and why Benjamin feels like he was hit by a truck after a weekend on the track in his Datsun.

Although the R may share its basic shape with the street-oriented GT and GT S editions of the coupe, mechanically this most belligerent member of the AMG family is as different from the base car as a straight razor is from a Schick. Despite his willingness to demonstrate how I can dial in as much or as little traction control as I may desire using the dash-mounted knob, Renger helpfully suggests that, of the GT R's four drive modes, I stick with "Sport+" and avoid "Race" until I've had at least a few laps at speed under my belt.

"You know, because, well, this is a lot of car," he says, looking me directly in the eye. A pause, and then he repeats this for a second time. "A lot of car."
